I will be updating this blog as often as I can, and am really happy you all are following along with me.
I leave for Africa on the 13th of February, and am there until late July / early August.
As for pictures and video, i'll be bringing along my new camera (which is a nice change after my 5-year-old one!). The Olympus Stylus Tough can go underwater up to 30 or so feet, and shock (drop) proof up to 7 feet.
I'll also have my Kodak zi8, which takes HD video and is incredibly small and portable. Hopefully I'll be able to get all the video and pictures I take uploaded periodically so that I can share it with all of you.
Naturally, apart from the photos and video, I'll be keeping a journal / this blog to keep as many records of this trip as possible.
